Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EKLI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

EKLI is a community platform that connects churches, ministries, businesses, and individuals through prayer, events, and service opportunities. The Service includes but is not limited to:

• Prayer request sharing and intercession
• Church and ministry directories
• Event discovery and management
• Volunteer opportunity listings
• Faith-based business directory
• Community resources and support services

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update this information as needed.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service. By posting content, you grant EKLI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service. You are solely responsible for your content and agree not to post content that is:

• Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of privacy
• Infringing on intellectual property rights
• Spam, advertising, or solicitations without permission
• False, misleading, or deceptive

5. Community Guidelines

EKLI is built on Christian values of love, respect, and community. Users agree to:

• Treat all users with respect and dignity
• Engage in good faith discussions
• Report inappropriate content or behavior
• Not use the platform for personal attacks or harassment
• Respect the beliefs and practices of different denominations

6. Churches and Organizations

Organizations registering on EKLI represent that they have the authority to act on behalf of the organization. Organizations are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and agree to keep information current. EKLI reserves the right to verify organization claims and remove listings that appear fraudulent.

7. Donations

Donations made through EKLI are processed by third-party payment providers (Stripe, PayPal). EKLI is not responsible for payment processing issues. Donations to EKLI support platform operations and development. Refund requests should be submitted within 30 days of donation.

8. Intellectual Property

The EKLI name, logo, and all related graphics, designs, and content are the property of EKLI and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without written permission.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. EKLI DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF USER-SUBMITTED CONTENT OR ENDORSE ANY ORGANIZATIONS LISTED ON THE PLATFORM. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EKLI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Copyright & Content Removal Requests

If you believe content on EKLI infringes your copyright, or you need content removed for another lawful reason, send a request to legal@ekli.org including: (a) the URL or location of the content, (b) a description of the work or right being infringed, (c) your contact information, and (d) a statement made in good faith that the use is unauthorized. We review takedown requests promptly and will remove or disable access to content when appropriate. You may also flag content directly using the Report button available on every listing.

13. Eligibility & Children

EKLI is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at legal@ekli.org and we will delete the account and its data.

14. Your Data Rights

You can download a copy of your personal data at any time from Settings → Account → Download Your Data, and you can permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings → Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. For data requests you cannot complete self-serve, email legal@ekli.org.
